Journey & Def Leppard Tour 2019 Tickets & Dates

The sound of '80s hit rock will sweep into Comerica Park this summer. Journey and Def Leppard will play the Detroit Tigers' ballpark on July 13, part of a 58-show tour that pairs two of that era's enduring names. The summer-long run is being officially announced this morning after several days of online buzz.

More recently, Journey guitarist Neal Schon referenced this tour in an an Instagram post: "Journey and Def Leppard comin' soon!" Journey's next round of dates were described as "a six-month tour" alongside Def Leppard in a January feature on Journey drummer Steve Smith, as well. This is the latest in a series of co-headlining packages for Journey, who've also appeared over the last few years with the Doobie Brothers, Santana, Asia, and the Steve Miller Band. The 2006 tour has been described as one of Def Leppard's most successful since the early '90s.

Tickets for the Comerica Park show will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Feb. 9. Information on pre-sale windows and VIP packages is expected in coming days.
